A moter cycle travels 30 km in30 minutes than 45km in 40 minutes and 15 km in 20 minutes. What is its average speed?

d3 = 15 km          t3 = 20 min = 1/3 hrs

So,

Average speed = (total dist.)/(total time) = (d1 + d2 + d3)/(t1 + t2 + t3)

= (30 + 45 + 15)/(1/2 + 2/3 + 1/3)

= (90) ÷ ((3 + 4 + 2)/6)

= 90 ÷ 9/6

= 90 * 6/9

= 10 * 6

= 60 km/h
