A mothee is 20 years older than her son ten year ago she was 3 times as old as her son then .find their present ages solve it fast nd in detail

if child is x yes old mother will be x+20 yes
According to the second situation if child is x yes old...then mother will be 3x yes...
so we can put them equal....
3x=x+20
3x-x=20
2x=20
x=20/2
x=10
if child is 10 yrs old then mother will be 3*10 i.e. 30 yrs old...
