Given :

Initial velocity 'u' = 10m/s

Acceleration 'a' = 0.8m/s²

Time 't' = 15s

To find :

Final velocity 'u'

Distance traveled 's'

Solution :

From the first equation of motion we know;

Final velocity 'v' = u + at

                            = 10m/s + (0.8m/s² x 15s)

                            = 10m/s + 12m/s

                         v = 22m/s

Similarly using the second equation of motion we can find;

Distance 's' = ut + (1/2)at²

                    = (10m/s x 15s) + [(1/2) x 0.8m/s² x (15s)²]

                    = 150m + 90m

                s = 240m

The final velocity of the motor cycle is 22m/s.

The distance travelled by the motor cycle is 240m.
