A motorboat starting from rest on a lake accelerates in a straight line at a constant rate of 3.0 m s-2 for 8.0 s. How far does the boat travel during this time?​

using

v= u + at equation

u=0 as it as rest before starting

a=3

t=8

v= 0+ 3×8

v= 24 m s-1

using 2as= v^2 - u^2

2×3×s= 24^2

6s= 576

s=96 meter
