A motorboat starting from rest on a late accelerates in a straight line at a constant rate 3.0 metre per second for 8.0 second. How far does the boat travel during this time?​

equation of kinematics: motion :

        s = u t + 1/2 a t²

  here u = 0 m/sec  a = 3.0 m/sec/sec    t = 8.0 sec

          s  = 0 * 8.0 + 1/2 * 3 m/sec² * (8.0 sec)²

     distance travelled in 8 sec = 96 meters
