Given
- Initial velocity (u) = 10m/s
- Final velocity (v) = 20m/s
- Time taken (t) = 12s
To find
- Acceleration = ?
Solution
As we know that
→ v = u + at
→ 20 = 10 + a × 12
→ 20 - 10 = 12a
→ 10 = 12a
→ a = 10/12 = 5/6 m/s²
Hence,
- Acceleration of motorcycle is 5/6m/s²
Extra Information
- Force = mass × acceleration
- v = u + at {First equation of motion}
- s = ut + ½ at² {Second equation of motion}
- v² = u² + 2as {third equation of motion}
- Pressure = Force/Area
