Since, We know that,,
Average speed = Total Distance Covered / Total Time Taken ------- (1)
Let , time taken to go 30 km be x hr.
& then Time Taken to return its same point from where he start be (x+x)= 2x hrs.
since , total time taken to go and return = 2x hrs.
& total time taken to covered the distance = (30+20) = 50
= 50/2
= 25 km/hr
I have doubt but it is correct I think.....
