A motorcycle moving with a speed of 5m/s if applied an acceleration of 0.2m/s calculate the speed of the motor cycle after 10 sec and the distance travelled by it in this time

Here is your answer

1) Using  a = v-u /t

we get, v = u + at

              v = 5 + (0.2) x 10

                 = 7 m/s

Distance travelled ,s = ut + (1/2) at2

                                      = 5 x 10 + (1/2) (0.2) 10 2

                                      = 50 + 10

                                      = 70 m
