A motorcycle travelling at 20ms-1 has an acceleration of 4ms-2. What does it explains about the velocity of the motorcycle.

Given, initial velocity , u = 20 m/s
acceleration , a = 4 m/s²

Here you see acceleration of motorcycle is constant e.g., a = 4 m/s²
Hence, we can apply kinematic equations of linear motion.
so, v = u + at
u = 20 m/s , a = 4 m/s²
∴ v = 20 + 4t --------------(1)
From equation (1), it is clear that velocity depends upon time taken.
Velocity increases with increament of time.
If we plot the v - t graph , we observed linearly variable and slope of graph = acceleration of motorcycle.
