Given,

20+29=49

40+30=70.

Speed = Distance/Time
49=x/70

x=70/49

=1.428

20km + 29km = 49km

30 min + 40 min = 70 min

49km/70min = 0.7 km/min = 42 km/hr

OR

20 + 29 = 49 km
in
30 + 40 = 70 minutes

time * speed = distance
(70/60)s = 49
s = 42 kph
