It's given that,
Time =20seconds

Retardation= 1.5
Or
Acceleration= -1.5m/s^2

Final velocity=0
We have to find the initial velocity,we Wil find it by using equation,that is,
$= > v = u + at \\ = > 0 = u + ( - 1.5 \times 20) \\ = > - u = - 30 \\ = > u = 30$
Hence,the initial velocity=30m/s
