A moving trains comes to rest in 10s by applicayion of brakes gind the intial velocity if retardation due to brakes is 3ms swuare also find the disyance travelled

Solution:-
Time=10seconds
Final velocity=0
Acceleration=3m/s^2
Initial velocity=?

We'll find initial velocity by using equation:-
 =  > v = u + at \\  =  > 0 = u + ( - 3 \times 10) \\  =  > u = 30
Therefore,
Initial velocity=30m/s

And , Distance travelled=
 =  >  {v}^{2}  =  {u}^{2}  + 2as \\  =  >  {(0)}^{2}  =  {(30)}^{2}  + 2 \times ( - 3) \times s
 =  > 6s = 900 \\  =  > s =  \frac{900}{6}  \\  =  > s = 150
Hence,he travelled 150m
