A multi storey building has 25 floors above the ground level each of height 5m . It also has 3 floors in the basement each of height 5m . A lift in building moves at the rate of 1m/second . If a man starts from 50 m above the ground , how long will it take him to reach the second floor of the basement

here is ur answer.....,

Every floor have height = 5 m 

And as we know there are three floors in the basement and every floor have height = 5 m 

And person at 50 m above the ground and wants to reached at second floor of basement , So,

Total distance covered = 50 m  + 5 m  = 55 m

And we know,

Speed is given as 1 m / sec

So,

so,

time= 55 second

so it will take 55 sec to reach at second floor in the basement
