a. battery

A battery consisting of one or more electric cells is used to maintain a potential difference across. a conductor.

c. Ohm's law states that the voltage or potential difference between two points is directly proportional to the current or electricity passing through the resistance, and inversely proportional to the resistance of the circuit.

The formula for Ohm's law is V=IR.

d. The ohm (symbol: Ω) is the SI derived unit of electrical resistance, named after German physicist Georg Simon Ohm.

Explanation:

(a) The Potential difference between the conductor ends is managed by connecting a battery or a dry cell to the conductor end.

(b) When 1 joule is made to move 1 Coulomb charge from one point to another, the potential difference between two points is  1V .

(c)Ohm's law :- The current flow is directly proportional to the difference in applied potential.

V ∝ I or V = IR

(d) The ohm resistance unit is indicated by \Omega.

(e)  V = IR (Ohms law)

R = \frac{V }{I}  = \frac{110 V}{ 5 A}  = 22  \Omega

the heater resistance is 22 \Omega.

I = \frac{V}{R}

 = 10 A
