A no. has 2 digits whose sum is 9 . if 27 is added to the no. its digits 8 interchange find the no.
2- The age of sonal and manoj are in the ratio 7:5. 10 years hence, the ratio of their ages will be 9:7. Find their present ages.
3- find the value of x.
1-13(y-4)-3(y-9)-5 (y+4)=0
2-x/4 +x/6=x/2+3/4

4-The sum of 2 consecutive multiples of three is 69 find them.

Answer for the 1st qstn is 63. As

x+y=9

x+y+27=y+x

9+27=y+x

y+x=36

=> Reversing the digits 63 is the answer

Comming to the 2nd answer...

Given ratio is 7:5. It can be written as 7/5

7x and 5x are the present ages of Sonal and Manoj.

10 years hence i.e., 10 years after their ages will be 7x+10 and 5x+10 and the given ratio after 10 years is 9:7

=>9/7 = 7x+10/5x+10

=>9 (5x+10)=7 (7x+10)

=>45x+90=49x-45x

=>90-70=49x-45x

=> 20=4x

Therefore x=5

And now the present age of Sonal will be 7x=7×5=35 years

Present age of Manoj will be 5x= 5×5=25 years.

for finding the x value, it is enpugh to solve the 2nd equation.

Separating the variable terms on one side and rhe constant terms on the other side we'll get this equation.

x/6-x/4-x/2=3/4-2

=>2x-3x-6x/12= (3-8)/4

=>-7x/3= 3-8

-7x=-5(3)

cancelling - on both sides

x=15/7

general term for 3 multiples will be

3x, 3x+3

sum of the terms is 69

=> 3x+3x+3=69

6x+3=69

6x=66

x=11

so the numbers will be 3 (11)=33 & 3 (11)+3=33+3=36
