(b) Electric field will be maximum
In any conductor electric potential is constant throughout it. So electrons flow through every space of the conductor. At the conductor's sharpest point, radius and area is lesser than all it's other points. Thus, electrons will be crowded at the conductor's sharpest point. Hence, electron charge density will be maximum at conductor's sharpest point.
Electric field is directly proportional to charge density. Since charge density is maximum at sharpest point of conductor, electric field is maximum at the conductor's sharpest point.
