Answer:

Let the tens digit be x

ones digit by y

Number formed=10x+y

Number formed by reversing the digits=10y+x

According to question

x+y=8 (1)

10x+y+18=10y+x (2)

9x-9y= -18 (3)

On solving (1) and (3)

x+y=8 (1)×9

9x-9y= -18 (3)

Subtracting (5) from (4)

9x+9y=72 (4)

9x-9y= -18 (5)

(-) (+) (+)

18y=90

y=90/18

y=5

Substituting y=5 in(1)

x+y=8

x+5=8

x=8-5

x=3

Orignal number=10x+y

10(3)+5

30+5

35
