Let the digits at tens place and ones place of the number be x and y respectively
Therefore, number formed = 10x + y
It is given that : x + y = 9 ..(1)
Number formed by interchanging digits= 10y + x
ATQ :
(10x +y) -9 = 10y + x
=9x - 9y - 9 = 0
=x - y = 1 ..(2)
Solving (1) and (2),
We get x = 5 and y = 4
Number is : 10x + y
= 10(5) + 4
=54
Therefore, number formed = 10x + y
It is given that : x + y = 9 ..(1)
