a number consist of two digits of which thw ten's digit exceeds the units digit by 6. the number itself is equal to ten times the sum of the digit. find the number

Let the ten's digit be x and one's digit be y.
Given that x-y=6
.: x= 6+y .......(i)
The number = 10x+y
Also given that
10x + y= 10(x+y)
10x + y= 10x + 10y
y= 10y
y=0

From (i)
x= 6+y
x= 6+0= 6
Number = 10*6+0= 60 (Ans.)
