Atahe element of an electric heater becomes red hot when the current is switched ON while,itz not so for the current carrying wires in the circuit. Explain why ?? Plz i need the right and appropriate answer !!

this is bcoz the material used in both cases is different
in electric heater it's nichrome which shows high resistance to flow of current that's why it heats up and look red hot
in current carrying wires it's copper or aluminium which offer very less resistance and hence doesn't heat up
