A number consists of two digits whose sum is 8. If 18 is added to the number its digits are reversed. Find the number.

Here is ur answer ,,,
Let the numbers be x and y
then the number be 10x+y
Sum of digits = 8
x+y = 8 _______(1)
Its reversed number = 10y + x
when 18 added to the number its digits are reversed .
10x+y+18 = 10y+x
10x - x + 18 = 10y - y
9x + 18 = 9y
9y - 9x = 18
y-x = 18/9
y-x = 2 ________(2)
From (1) and (2)
2y = 8+2
y = 10/2
y = 5
x+y = 8
x+5 = 8
x = 8-5
x = 3
So, the number ,,
= 10x+ y
= 10(3)+5
= 30+5
= 35
