a number consists of two digits whose sum is 8 if 18 is added to the number its digits are reversed find the number

Let first number be x
second number be y

x+y=8---(1)

10x+y+18=10y+x
9x-9y=-18
x-y=-2------(2)

Adding both equation
2x=6
x=3


Putting x in equation 1
We get,
x+y=8
3+y=8
y=8-3
y=5
