hiii!!!

here's Ur answer...

given statement - "a number in the form of a/b, where a and b are whole numbers is a rational number."

this statement is false, as we know whole numbers start from 0 till infinity.

it can be rational number or can't be.

for example, a = 5 and b = 0

a/b = 5/0 = infinity or not defined

so it's not necessary that it will be always rational.

hope this helps..!!
