the answer is....

Let the numbers be x,2x and 3x

as per question...
3x=39
x=39/3
x=13

putting x=13
we get

1st number = 13
2nd number=13×2=26
3rd number=39(given)

so the number=13+26+39=78

let x be the common multiple
x,2x,3x
3x=39
x=13
therefore, x=13
2x = 2 × 13 =26
3x=3×13 = 39
number=x+2x+3x
=13+26+39
=78
therefore the numbers are 13 and 26.
