✿ Solution - ✿

Let's assume one number as x

So, another number as 4x - 5

According to Question,

Given : Sum of the Numbers = 65

x + (4x - 5) = 65

=> 5x - 5 = 65

=> 5x = 65 + 5

=> 5x = 70

=> x = 70 / 5

=> x = 14

✿ Required Numbers - ✿

✧ x = 14

✧ 4x - 5 = 4(14) - 5 = 56 - 5 = 51

Hence, the required numbers are 14 and 51

Let the 1st number = x

Now ,

2 Nd Number = 5 less than 4 times the first number.

= 4x-5 .

According to the Question ,

x+4x-5 = 65

5x=65+5

5x = 70

x= 70/5

x= 14

If the 1st number is 14 , then the second number = 4(14)-5 = 56-5 = 51

The numbers are = 14 and 51 .

Verification = 12+43 = 65

#Hence Verified !!
