A number is selected at random from first thirty natural numbers. What is the chance that it is a multiple of either 3 or 13?

EXPLANATION:-

First thirty natural numbers are=1 to 30

no.of multiples of 3 in between these numbers=10( 3×10)

no.of multiples of 13 in between two numbers=2(13×2)

PROBABILITY =favourable outcomes/total outcomes

favourable outcomes=10+2=12

total outcomes=30

probability is=12/30 or 2/5
