Let the number be x.
According to the equation,
 \frac{12 - x}{13 + 6x} = \frac{1}{11} \\ by \: cross \: multipliction \\ 11(12 - x) = 1(13 + 6x) \\ 132 - 11x = 13 + 6x \\ 132 - 13 = 6x + 11x \\ 119 = 17x \\ x = \frac{119}{7}
Hope it helps uhh❤

Let the number be = x

According to the question x is subtracted from the numerator of the fraction 12/13 and six times the no is added to the denominator.

So,

12 - x / 13 + 6x

12 - x / 13 + 6x = 1/11

11(12-x) = 13 + 6x

132 - 11x = 13 + 6x

132-13 = 6x + 11x

17x = 119

x = 119/17

\underline{\boxed{x = 7}}
