A number is three times the sum of its digits. Find the number and explain it very easily.​

The number is=10x+y

The equation would be

10x+y=3(x+y)

10x-3x=3y-y

7x=2y

x/y=2/7

Let x=2m and y=7m

Then number=10×2m+7m=27m

Sum of digits=2m+7m=9m

Which is 1/3 of the number then,

The number is 27
