In a fig l is parallel to m if angle 1 is equal to 57 then find angle 6....plz explain it properly...

here,

angle1 = angle4......(1) ( alternate interior angles)

angle4=angle5.......(2) (alternate interior angles)

from (1)&(2),

angle1 = angle5 = 57°

now,

angle5 and angle6 are supplementary which means that their sum is equal to 180°.

so,

angle5+angle6 = 180°

or, 57° + angle6 = 180°

or, angle6 = 180°-57°

= 123°

ans.
