and theire Perimeters are as below

a , ar  , ar²  , ar³  ............................... arⁿ⁻¹

Perimeter of a square = 4 * side of a Square

=> Sides pf a square = Perimeter/4

=> Sides of n Squares would be

a/4  ,  ar/4  , ar²/4  , ar³/4  ............................... arⁿ⁻¹/4

= (a/4)  , (a/4)r  , (a/4)r²  , (a/4)r³  ............................... (a/4)rⁿ⁻¹

This is also an GP

with First Term = a/4 = Perimeter of 1st square/4

and common ratio is same = r

Hence Sides will be in GP also
