let the number be x
x+(2/3)x+(1/2)x+(1/7)x=97

lcm of (1,3,2,7)=42

=>(42x/42)+(28x/42)+(21x/42)+(6x+42)=97
=>(42x+28x+21x+6x)/42=97
=>97x/42=97
=>97x=97×42
=>x=(97/97)×42
=>x=1×42
=>x=42
