Hey there!

Let us take number as 'x '

When number is added to it's 2/3 it will make 55

x + ( 2x / 3 ) = 55

If we take LCM,

5x / 3 = 55

5x = ( 55 ) ( 3 )

x = ( 55 ) ( 3 ) / ( 5 )

x = ( 11 ) ( 3 )

x = 33

The number is 33

Hope my answer helps!

According to the question :

\mathbf{ ( \frac{2}{3} \: of \: \: K) + K = 55} \\ \\ \\ => (\frac{2}{3} \times K ) + K = 55 \\ \\ \\ = > \frac{2K}{3} + K = 55 \\ \\ \\ => \frac{2K +3K}{3} = 55 \\ \\ \\ => \frac{5K}{3} = 55 \\ \\ \\ = > K = \frac{55 \times 3}{5} \\ \\ \\ = > K = 11 \times 3 \\ \\ \\ = > K = 33
