and the divisor be D

Given

N=DK+27, (where k is the quotient)

A/Q

2N= 2Dk + 54 [ i.e 2×27=54]

As the remainder of 2N divided by D is 3 , therefore 51 must go into the quotient in the form 51/D

Therefore the divisor is 51✓ [ 54–3= 51]
