a object is size 3 cm are placed at a distance of 25 cm from a concave mirror of focal length 28 cm. find the nature , position and size of the image.​

object size(h')=-3cm

object-distance(u)= -25cm

focal langth(f)= -28cm⇒C=2f= -56cm

so,it is cleared that object is placed at between pole anf focus.so the image formed behind the concave mirror which is enlarged and virtual and erect.

now by mirror formula,

1/f= 1/u + 1/v.

1/v=1/f-1/u

=1/-28 - 1/-25

=3/700

⇒v=700/3cm

also,we know h_i/h_o=-v/u

h_i/3= -700/3/-25

h_i/3=28/3

h_i=28cm
