Given:-

  • Mass (m) = 2 kg
  • Acceleration (a) = 10m/s²
  • Initial velocity (u) = 0m/s
  • Displacemet (s) = 5 m

To Find :-

  • Kinetic Energy.

Solution:-

Firstly,

  • we calculate the final velocity of the object.

Formula used:-

→ v² = u² +2as

where,

  • v is the final velocity.
  • a is the acceleration.
  • u is the initial velocity.
  • s is the displacemet.

According to the question,

→ v² = 0² + 2×10×5

→ v² = 0 + 20×5

→ v² = 100

→ v = √100

→ v = 10m/s

Now,

  • calculating the kinetic energy.

Formula used:-

→ KE = 1/2mv²

Where,

  • KE is the Kinetic Energy
  • m is the mass
  • v is the speed/velocity

According to the question,

→ KE = 1/2×2 × 10²

→ KE = 1/2 × 2 × 100

KE = 100 J

Hence,

  • the kinetic energy of the object is 100 Joules.
