a oil tanker in the shape of cylinder with two hemisphere struck to each of its ends. the lengtj of entire tank is 21cm and the diameter of the oil tank is 6cm . find the surface area of oil tank

Answer:

Area of cylinder is 2πrl

So, here , r=3cm and l=21cm

therefore, Surface Area of Oil tank = 2πrl

=2*22/7*3*21

=396cm^2
