(a) Inertia depends on density and mass

(b) Thus acceleration of body becomes halved if the mass of the body is doubled same force is applied.

(1) If the net force on an object is doubled, its acceleration will double If the mass of an object is doubled, the acceleration will be halved .

(2)Density decreases when volume increases if mass is kept constant. Density is defined as mass divided by volume.
