THE HABIT OF READING
The habit of reading is highly beneficial. Francis Bacon says "Reading makes a full man". We should cultivate this habit when we are young ; and we should encourage our children to develop this habit. By reading books we get knowledge and all of us knows that knowledge brightens our lives. This habit also brings us healthy entertainment. Above all it makes us understand the past events and present events , and help us to step in to the future with wiser and firmer steps. Most of us have leisure. Our lives will be happy if we spend our leisure in the pursuit of some healthy hobby. If we do not have a healthy hobby leisure can cause much havoc to us. The habit of reading is an excellent hobby.
