potential difference = v = 4v
Combined resistance = R = ?
Current = I = ?

Combined resistance = R = 6 ohm + 2 ohm
combined resistance = R =8 ohm

according to ohm's law

V = IR
V/R = I
4/8 = I
0.5 = I

when resistors are connected in series same amount of current flow through each resistors
so 0.5 ampere current flowing through 6 ohm resistor
