Length of painted cardboard=19cm

& breadth of painted card =14cm

Since, there is a margin of 1.5cm long from each of its side.

  • Therefore reduced length

=19−(1.5+1.5)

=19-3

=6cm

  • And reduced breadth

=14−(1.5+1.5)

=14−3

=11cm

=(AB×AD)−(EF×EH)

=(19×5)−(14×2)

=95−28

=67 sq cm
