A pair of shoes was sold at 5/8 of its original price was ₹480, for how much the pair of shoes was sold? what discount was given?

Selling Price = ⅝ × 480 = 5×60 = ₹300

Discount = Original price - Selling Price

= 480-300 = ₹180
