According to Pythogoras theoem, H²=P²+B²

  • (32-x²) = (x)² + (8)²
  • (32)² + (x)² - 2×32×X= x² + 64
  • 1024 + x² - 64x = x² + 64
  • 64x = 1024 - 64
  • x = 960/64= 15m

Hence, The height from the ground at which the tree broken is 15m.
