Ar. of remaining sheet = (l × b) - πr²/2
=> 280 - 22/7 × 7 × 7 × 1/2
=> 280 - 77

★ given the length of rectangular sheet=20cm
★ breadth of the rectangular sheet=14cm
area of the rectangular sheet= l × b
= 20 × 14
= 280m²
★ given the breadth of the rectangular sheet is the diameter of the semi circle.
therefore diameter of the semi circle = 14cm
and radius will be = 14/2
= 7cm
area of the semi circle = 1/2 π r²
= 1/2 × 22/7 × 7 × 7
= 11 × 7
= 77cm²
if the semi circle is cut off from the sheet then the remaining area left of the sheet is=280-77
= 203cm²
hence final answer is 203cm²
