We have,

AB=CD=30 cm

AD=BC=20 cm

Since,

ABCD is a rectangle and semicircular portion with BC diameter is cut off. it means radius of semicircle is 10 cm.

Therefore, the area of remaining part is

=AB×AD−

=30×20−

π×(20/2)

=600−

π×(10)

=600−

=600−3.14×50

=600−157
