The lockdown, courtesy the novel coronavirus, has turned my world topsy-turvy. Confined to my house, I am enjoying school lessons and tuition online, without having to travel. This is saving ample time for hobbies such as painting, tending plants and reading story books. The most striking aspect is that I have picked up some basic culinary skills — how to make tea, coffee, sandwiches, instant noodle soup and so on. These skills are helping me become independent and will surely be useful in the future.
