Plastic is one of the biggest bane for our environment . It is the main cause of environmental degradation . It arises many health hazards and environmental issues along with polluting various sources . There are many disadvantages of this product . Plastic bags are non biodegradable. Hence , it takes a million years to decompose . also , when plastic bags are thrown in soil , they pollute the soil causing soil pollution . There bags when thrown in garbage dump , causes chocking for the animals like cows when they consume them . They also choke the drains and pollute water bodies . Burning of plastics produces harmful gases that cause air pollution . So , there are unlimited hazards of plastic . Therefore we need to ban the use of plastic to save our mother earth .
