A parallelogram abcd has sides ab=27cm. and ad=15cm. the distance between the sides ab and dc is 10cm. find the distance between the sides ad and bc.

Given AB 27cm and AD 15cm. So opposite sides and angles are equal in parallelogram. To find distance b/w AD and BC is take point F on line AD and join to point C so it becomes perpendicular . Now AE*DC=27*10=270.

Also area of parallelogram FC*AD =270.so FC*15=270 ...

FC =18
