A parallelogram has a base of 135 dm.The corrosponding height idms 6 dm. Find the area of parallelogram in sq.M

1 dm = 0.1m
Therefore,
base of the parallelogram = 13.5m
and
corresponding height = 0.6 m
Now,
Area of the parallelogram = base×height
= 13.5 ×0.6
= 8.1 sq. meters.

GIVEN :

Base of parallelogram = 135 dm = 13.5 m

Height of parallelogram = 6 dm = 0.6 m

TO FIND :

Area of parallelogram = ?

FORMULA USED HERE :

Area of parallelogram = Base × Height

CALCULATION :

Area of parallelogram = 13.5 × 0.6

= 8.1 m^2
