We have been given a parallelogram has adjacent sides 12cm and 9 cm and it's shorter sides is 8cm.

 { \boxed { \boxed { \underline{ \bf \blue {\mathbb {Find \:area\: of \:the\: Parallelogram:}}}}}}]

Area of Parallelogram = Base × Height

Area of Parallelogram = 9 × 8 cm²

Area of Parallelogram = 72 cm²

Assume distance between its longer sides be x

 { \boxed { \boxed { \underline{ \bf \green {\mathbb {Find\: distance \:between\: its\: longer\: sides: }}}}}}]

Area of Parallelogram = X × 12 cm

72 cm² = 12x cm

x = 72/12

x = 6 cm
