Answer:

The Area of Trapezium is 128 cm² .

Step-by-step explanation:

Given as :

A parallelogram is drawn in Trapezium

The Area of parallelogram = 80 cm²

Let The Area of Trapezium = A cm²

According to question

Area of parallelogram = Base × height

Or, base × height = 80 cm²

From figure

base of parallelogram = 10 cm

So, Height = \dfrac{Area}{base}

Or, h = \dfrac{80}{10}

height of parallelogram = h = 8 cm

Again

A parallelogram is drawn in Trapezium

Area of Trapezium = \dfrac{1}{2} × (sum of parallel sides) × height

∵ Trapezium height = parallelogram height

So,  Area of Trapezium = \dfrac{1}{2} × (10 + 22) × 8

Or,  Area of Trapezium = \dfrac{1}{2} × 32 × 8

Or,  Area of Trapezium = 16 × 8

Or,  Area of Trapezium = 128 cm²

Hence, The Area of Trapezium is 128 cm² . Answer
